The “Premio Ignacio R. M. Galbis” is an award granted once a year for an outstanding work published in El Cid, the national journal of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society (Sigma Delta Pi Chapter). Svetlana Tyutina's winning article is entitled "La visión del mestizaje en la segunda mitad del siglo XX: La reivindicación femenina y masculina de la Malinche".
