This program is designed for students who either wish to learn or improve on the Italian language, learn more about the Italian culture, and experience the Italian way of living. Once you’ve experienced “la dolce vita,” you’ll find that your perspective and attitude will be more international and definitely more Italian.
During this 6 weeks long program, students will have a chance to stay for 2 weeks in Lecce, a beautiful baroque city located in the south of Italy, and 4 weeks in Perugia, a stunning medieval city in the heart of Italy. Students will experience the magic of Italy, its culture, food, art, the enchanting beaches of the south, and the marvelous views of the Umbrian and Tuscan hills.
Students will be living in apartments (two students per room). Single rooms are available upon request at an additional cost.

Credits: 3-5 credits
The estimated cost of this program is $2,094 per person and includes lodging for the length of the program, some extra-curricular activities, four one-day excursions , and bus transportation from Fiumicino to Perugia and back. The program cost also includes mandatory international health insurance.
The program fee does not include most meals, round-trip airfare, FIU course instructional fee ($205.57 per credit), and the non-refundable Study abroad fee ($175).
N.B. $300 NOT refundable deposit is due upon registration.
