Passport to Italy:  The Enchanting Amalfi Coast

June 27-July 25, 2026

This four-week faculty-led study abroad program invites students to live, study, and grow in one of Italy’s most enchanting settings. Academic learning is seamlessly blended with cultural immersion. Students will not only build proficiency in the Italian language but will also experience Italy as Italians do, sharing in its traditions, exploring its landscapes, and understanding its culture from the inside. By the end of the program, participants will carry with them both academic achievements and the intangible treasures of travel: unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a deeper connection to the Italian way of life.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION

The Amalfi Coast, one of the most admired destinations in the world, will be the perfect setting for this unforgettable journey. For four weeks, students will call Salerno home, a city that captures the essence of Southern Italy. Salerno is more than just a place; it is an experience. It is the breathtaking coastline with its beaches, cliffs, and hidden caves. It is the weight of centuries, reflected in castles, cathedrals, and narrow medieval streets. It is the fragrance of the sea mingled with the aromas of lemon groves and fresh espresso. Above all, it is the vibrant rhythm of everyday life in piazzas and cafés, where tradition and modernity coexist.

From this lively seaside city, students will be perfectly situated to explore the wonders of the region. Amalfi, Positano, Pompeii, Paestum, and Naples are all within reach, offering a continuous discovery of art, history, and natural beauty.

HOUSING

Housing: Shared apartments with double/triple occupancy, self-catering, and air conditioning. Apartments are within a 20-minute walk from the school.
